Mathematics Literature Analysis of Students of Class VIII MTs Darussalam Daun in Cooperative Learning Model Type Investigation Group

This study aims to determine the extent of mathematical literacy skills by applying Group Investigation type cooperative learning model. Mathematics achievement in Indonesia is still low, as seen PISA and TIMSS surveys, one private junior high schools Malang mathematics using conventional learning. The research method qualitative with a descriptive approach nine students subject. results showed that observations teacher activities at first meeting were 91.6% very good second 97% too, observation student 87.5% was 93.8% predicates. Then data from response questionnaire on application GI model an average 4, 1, which has predicate.
